The reason behind Umkhatho Jeans was to make something different from the rest, something unique and smart.

*Where do you see the brand in few years to come?

We want to see Umkhatho all over the country, all over Africa and all over the world.

*And how are you going to make that possible?

We are going to keep pushing until we get the recognition we need.

*Which Brand/Artists that you would like to work with?

We would definitely like to work with Tshepo Jeans since Umkhatho Jeans is not very different from it and in terms of artists we would like to work with someone like Oscar Mbo, Kabelo Motha as known as Kabza De Small and a stylist called Shaun Stylist.

*What are the challenges the brand is facing everyday?

The challenges are that other people are calling their pants Umkhatho Jeans but they didn't buy those pants they call Umkhatho Jeans from us...if you didn't get Umkhatho Jeans from Sihle Nkau, Katleho Kini Masupha, Tiisetso Radebe, Lungile Ngcobo, Ntando Tshabalala and Junior Mgojo then it's not Umkhatho Jeans, but we consider them as nice pants.

*What has changed from the beginning until now?

At first people were not very interested in wearing Umkhatho Jeans but that has changed now everyone just wants his/her own pair of jeans.
